In warm weather, a car without working air conditioning just isn’t fun. However, the A/C system can be just as important in cold weather. If your air conditioner is blowing hot air or your defroster just isn’t defrosting, a low level of refrigerant might be the culprit. It could also cause you to waste gas when cooling the car.
There are three main components to your air conditioning system:
- Compressor
- Condenser
- Evaporator
Automotive Air Conditioner Repair
We’ll check each of the components listed above for cracks and leaks during an A/C service. If no leaks are found, we will evacuate the refrigerant from the system, vacuum test it, and recharge the A/C system. Bring your vehicle in for an evacuation and recharge to ensure you’re operating on the optimum amount of refrigerant.
If you’re planning a road trip, make sure your tire and engine maintenance is up-to-date as well!
